Sachini Premarathne

Sachini Premarathne is an Undergraduate in Bachelor of Agricultural Technology and Management at University of Peradeniya Sri Lanka. She is assiduously seeking and gaining knowledge on the related fields that she studies as crop science, soil science, animal science and husbandry, economics, agriculture engineering, agriculture biology and so on. Not only the acedemic subjects, she tried to improve soft skills by doing online courses mostly on coursera online platform and google garage during the pandemic situation. Other than that she was recently appointed as one of the batch coordinators in Agriculture Faculty English Literary Association. She engages in extra curricular activities as carrom, swimming and badminton in the university in order to enhance her qualities on leadership, team work etc. She loves to work with others and she wants to give her best to the society. Now she is working as a volunteer in zero plastic initiative, to save the environment by reducing plastic usage and replacing them with local environment friendly products within households around the country.
